Marketing strategist & podcast host
Andrei Tarnovski
Marketing strategist and podcast host. Founder of TARNOVSKI Marketing Consultancy. Host of Boringly Effective. Chief marketing officer at Melio. Partner and creative director at SÝMBOLON. Vice-president and founding member of COAB București.
Based in Bucharest, Andrei works in marketing strategy — the discipline of making a brand stay relevant inside the environment its users actually live in, which is what the practice calls «live brands». He founded the studio now being renamed TARNOVSKI Marketing Consultancy, and has led strategy, identity, naming and packaging work for clients including Castel Mimi, BCR and Selecție Cotnari. He holds a MiniMBA in Marketing with Distinction and speaks regularly at EastCreative in Poland and Business Brains in Romania.
Alongside that he hosts Boringly Effective, a podcast built on marketing fundamentals and evidence rather than tactics. Its guests have included Mark Ritson, WARC's David Tiltman and System1's Andrew Tindall; its written pieces cover creative testing, the 60:40 rule and Ehrenberg-Bass brand-growth theory.
At Melio he is chief marketing officer of a Romanian preventive-health subscription. At SÝMBOLON he is partner and creative director beside founder Victoria Tarnovski. He founded OMNEE, an automation service for Romanian real-estate advertising still in development, with Realist Agenție Imobiliară as its first client and partner. He is vice-president and a founding member of the COAB București business club.
Victoria Tarnovski — Brand strategist & philosopher, founder of SÝMBOLON and chief strategy officer at Melio.
